RE:RE:NEWs on SEDAR: special meeting, voting record date: Dec 08!I think the deadline Dec 08. means that only shareholders who own at this time PVG shares have the right to vote later.
It is barely legal (or unlegal?) that Pretium does not make such an important announcement on their Webpage. Their plan is, to send out voting materials during Christmas / New Year times, hoping that many sharehoders are then in holiday modus and will not vote or say to themselves "Let it be". Might even be in case of some smaller instiutional investors.
Their target is do get as less as possible shareholders to vote, so that the "Yes" votes get the majority needed in the voting box. Only the votes which were done, count as basis for a yes or no decision. Votes which were not executed by shareholders are indirect "Yes" votes ! For example if only 40 % of all outstanding PVG shares vote yes, but only 50 % of the outstanding shares had given their vote at all, the scam deal is through. Something like that they want to finger now, gving no informations to shareholders.
If they need such dirty tricks, it shows only the more what a scam is going on here !
Normal shareholders (so called beneficial shareholders) should get a voting notice from their broker, probably during busy Christmas / New years time. Vote on it with "NO" to that stink price offer from Newcrest and send your vote out !
BTW: not many days left now for one of the big shareholders to prepare a resolution, which will clean our board from those persons, who try to sell PVG at an extremely undervalued price... who try to cheat us !
