RE: direct reduced iron production with green hydrogen
Green hydrogen is used to make green steel, and Hybrit has already delivered a batch of green steel to Volvo for testing. The hydrogen is made by electrolysis from green electricity. Plasma torches run directly on electricity so I would think would be simpler and more efficient. Interestingly, HPQ claims to be acquiring a green hydrogen process, so could be seen as a competitor if it turns out their process works, which I am sceptical of.
