RE:Chasing Shadows?

RE:Chasing Shadows?

More theoreticals......From I've been reading, Meta(FB) is going all out to capture the augmented/virtual (AR/VR) reality market. Not like it's something new but it's the future according to them. BB has partnered in the past with an AR/VR company in the past (2016?) and I believe it was Vucix or something similar to that. So I would think that there may be some tech and patents that connects us to VR.  For me, I'm just trying to connect some dots or read between the lines and get some idea of what kind of money is involved should it be Meta buying our patents combined with settlement.

In the following link it might interest you to see just how much Meta is willing to invest in their Quest. I find it all dubious and mysterious. Regardless, at least $10bn for this calendar year is a staggering figure in my mind, and more to follow.  Plus the fact Meta wants to keep it all separate from media messaging etc.  There's a warning there for their sh re large expenditures. Trying to be brief so you can make your own conclusions after reading this but I was left wondering if that $10bn has anything to do with the patents and settlement and if so then how much of that would head our way? Is the sale/infringement to be disguised or blended in with their own financials, some fancy bookkeeping? Just seems like a lot of money for the year and to announce it in October might raise an eyebrow.
