RE:Lithium factory next to Tesla This is the basis for my investment in European Metals EMHLF and ERPNF.....they have the worlds 4th largest hard rock deposit located on the border between Germany and the Czech Republic. They have the Czech national utility as a partner and are completing their feasibility study as I type this. It's the only real player in all of Europe for battery grade lithium. The EU will require (as the article notes) that 80% of all the raw materials used in Europe come from Europe...well that's impossible as there's hardly any projects in Europe to supply lithium. European Metals is in the cat birds seat. There are a couple of other players possible...a private concern in Norway, a project in the UK, Vulcan Energy which may be a fraud, Savannah in Portugal and a highly contested project in Serbia that Rio Tinto is trying to get approved...doubtful....that leaves only European Metals as the major supplier of "green" lithium. I don't know where Rocktech is going to get it's raw materials from but since 80% have to come from Europe I suspect they'll be buying all we can produce.
