Harte Gold Corp is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral resource properties. It is focused on gold properties located in the province of Ontario, Canada. The company's exploration projects consist of sugar zone property and Stoughton Abitibi property. The Sugar Zone Property is located approximately 80 kilometers east of the Hemlo gold camp on the north shore of Lake Superior. It includes approximately 4 mining leases and 336 unpatented mining claims. In addition, it also consists of approximately 29,435 hectares within the Sault Ste. The Stoughton Abitibi property is located approximately 110 kilometers east of Timmins and 50 kilometers northeast of Kirkland Lake.

RE:RE:Well..I've been watching this one for a couple years, hoping to see some sign of a turn around that might let me make some money. Today I think I finally saw it.  I put in an order for some Silver Lake.

The mine seems to have significant potential, but the finances handcuffed management.  That will be straightened out now.  It's not certain yet, but the odds on winner here is Silver Lake.

The arrangements in the news release are pretty typical for CCAA.  The primary secured creditors are taken care of, the secondary secured creditors take a bit of a hit, the unsecured creditors get pennies on the dollar, the shareholders get squat.  I feel for the small businesses in White River, who are doing business with Harte - their current receivables are going to get decimated, but at least they get to continue doing business with the mine.
