Did they reach out to any investor who had expressed interest in participating in a private placement. No.
I have a close friend who recently sold his gold fund to Sprott and received $250M. He has been looking for investment vehicles to invest that money in and was very interested in Nextleaf, through the information I was providing.
Just waiting on my direction from management.
After today's move that opportunity has now closed.
Incredible loss, not only for Nextleaf but also myself.
Can't say stupid enough.
