RE:RE:RE:RE:Shorts be running for the exits..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Main difference is the value of the shorted shares (number of shares x share price at time of short) vs. number of shares shorted.

My numbers were from CEO.CA, even in comparison to short volume on Shortdata.ca there is a difference, I believe one is volume vs. other as being net short volume.

Imagine if one shorts a stock twice and covers it twice within the same reporting period.  There were short volumes associated with those 2 trades but the net short posiition would not change.
