now this is a ridiculous comparison, A huge part of Costco's profit comes from annual membership fees which just keeps growing, so they can afford lower margins , they also have a huge advantage by being able to buy in bulk. MRS has no such thing comparable to costco, lol. it's pretty simple , Mrs needs higher margins, which I believe they should be able to attain sometime in the near to medium future.
