My wife is currently camping in south Texas. The trailer park crowd she is encountering almost uniformly are unvaccinated because the gubmint is being intrusive and that's comonist and it ain't a vaccine anyway so you don't want to put that in yer arm. They also all seem to have guns "for protection", though not one has said he/she's had occasion to use one.

You tell yourself these are cliches but she's seeing the reality.
