Capital gains & dividend income inside an RRSP/RRIF don't count until you withdraw them and they never count within a TFSA.
That's a lot of dough to play with.
Also, I never batted an eye with the March 2020 losses because I have unwavering confidence in our portfolios and in the markets. As it turned out, we bounced back and were up 4.4% for the 2020 year and are up 23.8% YTD for 2021.
I actually think some people can learn from my experiences and my investment strategy.
