Good luck to everyone, I will continue to read your posts, but please be very careful big brother is watching !!
I have had some experience with this issue with Stockhouse and asked them to correct the problem since I was concerned that a hack might affect my investment portfolio.
After my request....crickets from Stockhouse
With some reluctance, I sent them email indicating that if they didn't correct the problem to protect my identity, I would call the Privacy Commisioner and have them investigate. Really don't like to do that heavy handed sort of thing but really had no choice and Stockhouse responded a couple of hours later and solved the problem.
People need to recognize that social media on the internet is pourous and they need to make sure they have proected themselves. In my case, I set up my investment accounts such that the accounts cannot be viewed without a text message to my phone with a code and so a hacker can't get in unless they have my phone.
