For 3 weeks at the start of October the price movement was truly impressive. It was as if the sellers were on strike. Or ELEM got such an amazing deal on the NV property that every shareholder decided that the company was instantly worth twice as much as before the deal and could not stomach selling for less.

Do/did insiders have their shares locked up, not allowed to sell until a certain date? That would put full control of the supply of shares in the hands of the institution(s) that financed their IPO (I assume the had IPO early Aug as that is as far back as their chart goes)?
