RE:RE:RE:Gold M&ASooner, you fail to understand the point of my post:
As of today, Great Bear has a $0 NPV (technically) since it has no published resource. Even if one were to be published, the resource size and the NPV would pale against Casino.
So, if an INFERIOR project (at exploration stage, mind you) is worth $1.42 billion, how much is a world-class, advanced project with one of the top 10 gold resources by size globally worth?
I won't argue with you that a dollar invested last week in Great Bear is worth more today. My point is if you look many years ahead, we will realize Casino is much more valuable than GB's project. That my friend is the essence of investing, realizing where market disparities exist and taking advantage of them.
Now, if I were a GB shareholder (full disclosure, I am not), I would wait for the dust to settle and once assure of the final acquisition price, I would sell and roll the proceeds into the roller coaster which will climb to even higher heights: WRN.
