RE:RE:RE:The Country Club Application Approved ValueGuy 13,
Thanks for your help. You prompted me to do a google search on The Board of Trade Golf course sale.
I found a page by CBRE Commercial. There is even a brochure they developed. I did not read it.
Says they contacted over 1000 clients world=wide. They had 8 bids. Went to one more final round after the 8 bids. Says it sold for $220M to a group Holborn Group/RGF. RGF is identified in other stories as RGF Real Estate Fund Lp.
The property is generally described at 200 plus acres in the Woodbridge Area of Vaughn. Borderts along the Humbler River. A lot of it being lowlands and since it borders the river maybe prone to some flooding, not usable as residential development. Would imagine this makes sense as historically it was never developed so they put the golf course there in 1965 on an undeveloped/unused tract just north of the downtown. Also says there are some rolling hills and valleys in a description of the course.
Anyway, the 90 plus acres that are developable are reported to have sold for a record in Vaughn at that time at a price of $2.4M per developable acre. Based on 660 doors/keys to use some Development slang that's about $333K per key. Not too shabby heh!
