RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Who are the real winners?

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Who are the real winners? It would surprise me if they would go after the real wealthy; they don't have a good score for bringning to court those who hide  money in the fiscal paradises. If my memory is right, we have the worst score among the countries whose rich citizens use the fiscal loopholes. It is simply too much work; it is exausting...
.
As for going after the pseudo wealthy , namely the middle class people who saved some money and invested it, this is realy easy; no leg work, everything can be done from the comfort of their ergonomic swivel chair with a computer.

So, if there is a lot of action in your account...this will either mean you are reajusting your portfolio or that you are trading actively...the way the CRA  will see it and tax it or not, will depend on the political masters ''vision'' of this and its needs. We all know they will need money real soon, so the ''vision'' will be adjusted accordingly...

They will come after us because we are the easiest targets to fleece for we obviously want to keep what we have and want to live inside the laws.

''Excessive'' trading might trigger a flag ; especialy in a TFSA or RRSP like some of you mentionned. It would be interresting to know what is considered ''excessive,,.

I read the different comments posted here and I appreciate the analyses and experience of this group . It is especially useful when dealing with taxes; there a lot of them and it is confusing sometimes.
