Recommendation Q: I purchased Morguard Corporation in 2020 at $105 but am becoming disillusioned with this company. Is it worth keeping or should I sell and move on? Two potential replacement real estate stocks would be either Tricon Residential (TCN) or Mainstreet Equity (MEQ). Which would be the best purchase?
MRC is not an overly exciting name but we think the valuation at 9x earnings reflects that. We would be fine moving on to other names and would prefer TCN over MEQ due to a slightly better valuation and larger size.
