RE:RE:RE:This winter has ZERO impact...Crunchy, there isn't anything to disagree about, I agree 1) that the salt used in NFLD is imported, as well as the Eastern Seaboard to a large degree and 2) Pugwash is near the end of life due to smaller and less desirable quality of the remaining resource.
The value of SALT today cannot, and is not, based upon production and revenue, but however based on the size of the resource and capital cost to bring it to production, and subsequently what someone is will to pay to acquire the resource. Thus the hiring of SLR for the Great Atlantic Feasibility Study,
....".... The second stage of the FS, expected to be completed during the first half of 2022, will include the design of a mining method, processing parameters, related infrastructure, environmental screening and an economic evaluation....."...... further
....".... One of the key issues being addressed by the feasibility study is whether the deposit can be accessed through an inclined ramp or a vertical shaft. Ramp access is anticipated to require less capital and operating costs while providing infrastructure efficiencies. Coming drilling will assist with this determination....".....
I have been to Memorial many times for conferences, but never to Treasure Cove in Stephenville, but I have heard the treasure is covered in salt.... Arrrr.....
