There is almosst 6000 people in hospital 888 on oxygen 420 in the ICU but those number are * because the data for the week is incomplete and will change and grow as the week moves forward.
Now you also have to take in to account the numebr of people in south aferica who can not get access to or afford health care. Public health care is at best understaffed over crowded and under funded.
Now looking at your history you posted you were out in April, you also posted that delta was not a concern.....
