Suncor's generous dividend will likely grow annualy even with oil prices at usual values. Overall consumption is still growing in Canada and internationaly,
I wish you and CashHungry all the best.
I have been around this mulberry bush for over 50 years and when I see a company like SU with the metrics that it has and the SP doesn't reflect it for an extended period of time like it has it means that the big money have voted with their feet. Until SU management shows that they have ideas to use their substantial cashflow to grow the company in a meaningful way, the SP will continue to languish. If you guys are content with a few pennies more each year on your divy then that's up to you. But the fact of matter is that under that scenario there many other companies to invest in that can provide a greater total return with low risk and again that's why the SP of SU doesn't reflect its metrics.
