RenewablesAs I've been saying for the last year, renewables have a ton of flaws - unreliable, non-recyclable parts, need for tons of grease for windwills, etc, etc. That's why we sold all our BEP.UN and NPI late last year and early this year and put the cash to work by buying more of most of our other holdings, including a big whack in our 4 midstreamers - ENB, TRP, KEY, PPL.
I noticed the pure renewables are geting massacred today and may have found out why. California is limiting some of the solar subsidies (see link below).
I know some people have been complaining about the share price of ENB so I put toigether a table to show the YTD% change. Note that it is share price only so if he way higher yields for mistreameres vs pure renewables was facotred in, it'd be an even bigger difference,
