RE:Big winsYes, it's positive for Cineplex but, sounds like Cineworld is heavily in debt. $5-8 billion depending on what report you read so, if and when they will be able to pay Cineplex is anyone's guess. Likely, appeals will keep the case tied up in court for another two years or so. Cineworld will have to borrow more money at unfavourable terms eventually, if they want to pay Cineplex. In the meantime, Cineplex is in pretty good shape, although, I think Omicron has beaten them down a bit recently. If Omicron continues to get worse we could end up back in lockdown. Canadians have already been advised not to travel during the holidays so...However, if the authorities can get Omicron under control, Cineplex should do well in 2022, even without the Cineworld payout.
