RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Galaxy websiteMagnesium attempts from 20 and 30 years ago were ill fated, and perhaps too visionary at the time. However, the shift to green and away from China are massive currents that will not go away. Hence, magnesium is a massive untapped market that will grow alongside aluminum as steel becomes less viable due to carbon costs for mobile equipment which consume energy. Very little steel will be in new vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles) within 10 years, and they will be so much safer and more efficient due to less weight. There are risks associated with developing new technologies so being well funded and opportunistic to allow for some issues would be prudent. These are decisions for the commercial plant, and the key will be to have a very flexible or modifiable pilot and process. Shoot for the fences but have a robust back up plan. I think selling raw ore gives WHY that buffer. It can build out the pilot and use the funds to develop its own technology and potentially buy out lesser funded bolt-ons for downstream products. It will also be able to hire away the top talent since everyone will want to flock to beautiful Rossland BC and work for an upstart.
