They wont pay 1.2 billion, even if they "can pay" Why would they ??? They will not absorb that kind of hit.....When the dust settles it will be nothing close to 1.2B if not zero, they were offering WAY too much even before Covid. Cineplex has been dying for years.

cineplex is a monopoly with no other players. Cineworld can pay. They have assets they can sell. Grounds for appeal are weak so overall this is long term hold for me.
