RE:RE:The train rolls on Sure you can call me a cheerleader if you like. I don't see it that way personally. It's not even the product per se that impresses me. It's the business execution. In six years they went from nothing to dominating the ISP market for managed wifi. They are being integrated into the devices sold to the ISP world. They have delivered a solution that fixes wifi at homes that doesn't require any tech knowledge on the part of the customer. 5th some seriously strong performance.
For some perspective the year Plume launched was the same year Yfi came out of its slumber. In the subsequent years while one grew the other did zip. Interestingly the one that flourished just went about its business. The other while doing nothing was busy telling the world that single channel was dead and they had the only viable solution. It's pretty clear how the market saw the situation.
So, sure, probably no one hear cares about the posts I make about Plume. But if they had an ounce of objectivity they would see where things are headed. I'd also add they should be paying attention to wifi6 and wifi6e on the 6ghz band. They both offer their own game changing additions. But, I'm a realist and fully accept that baggies take every word Andy utters as gospel and they think that they themselves have better insight into the market than the people who run the wifi businesses.
