RE:RE:Tocvan Commences Drilling at its Pilar Au-Ag ProjectGutterguy, TOC closed at $0.99 on 174,000 shares, this is great. And now there is an interview with Brodie on Power Play. I agree there should be results from the trench sampling back in January, and then followed by some drilling assays shortly after (TOC has always drilled fast and gets results back quickly, last year they tended to release assays in groups of 3 so to keep shareholders informed). I also think there could be other releases such as the potential copper spin out play and let's not forget they are on the ground at El Picacho (which sure looks like a nice property).
I also like that there has been artisanal surface and underground workings at Pilar, this surely means there must be something underground, otherwise why would anyone bother.
Stepout and exploration drilling along 4-Trench trend:
JES-21-53: 15.3 m at 1.1 g/t Au new 4-Trench trend;
Exploration drilling along Triple Vein zone;
Four artisanal surface and underground workings over 200-metre strike with surface sampling up to 4.5 g/t Au and 735 g/t Ag.
I wouldn't be surprised to see one or two press releases every month that will outline the progress to the release of a NI 43-101, and economic assement that will allow Pilar to be financed and brought into production. From my experience in these types of advanced resource plays, the overall goal is to finance production at much higher prices. But of course, that is if someone doesn't step in and acquire the company. There are several big players in the Sedona area that likely have their eyes keenly trained on Pilar.
Let's also not forget, there were significant shares short at the end of November, the next report will be December 15, which should be pubished soon. SHORT SQUEEZE is always an interesting scenario.
