So Desmond states management owns 35% of the outstanding shares and retail investors own the rest. What about Mr. Nillson? Sure interesting this wasn't discussed. Remember folks smoke and mirrors is the secret sauce of many small desperate companies.
The 35% management ownership looks about right, as they have around 38% of votes in favor of the current board. About 60% have not voted. That has given them high approval. Yet, you don't know the view of the silent majority, and the view of the Nilsson. I don't think it is that hard to win to 60% over, if there is a business plan that can compete with what is proposed by the current management, given the fact that for the long-term holder, they lost a lot of money and should not feel too good about the current management. As they said, their share holders are just retail, (Nilsson is included in the retail category) and the management. Retail can easily be won over, as they cannot get a seat in the board, and they are solely for the stock price appreciation.
I think the fact that the Nilsson is not mentioned is that he is not on their side, and that they have not managed to integrate him into their board. I hope that they are feeling some heat to improve their performance. They have just been milking this cow without having the shareholders to win together with them. JMHO.
