RE:Zoom with Zimtu meeting...anyone watch it?I thought it was a very positive update.
Technology works - just working on testing/certifications now
Confident in receiving grants from NY to help with funding - they're planning on building their first commercial plant in NY in 2023 so I'm sure NY is making it an attractive deal (from both financing and as a customer)
Talked through how Zinc8 solution beats out competition for anything above 8hrs - EOS is stuck at $200/kwh while Zinc8 cost declines all the way to $62/kwh at 100hrs
Talked through some of the projects - Surrey is waiting on permits for solar and construction to finish
Zinc price is up, BUT Lithium and vanadium prices up A LOT more - which actually improves relative pricing even more
Some really great comments around Tom H. (new board member) - believes in Zinc8 technology (built a career in battery materials - started LAC), thinks valuation is very attractive, has a big network and is already starting to leverage it for Zinc8
