The Heritage (previously Petrotrin) component, is well explained in Minister Young's recent presentation to parliment.

Meaning, Trinidad & Tobago had a long time to come to grips with multi-nationals working and contributing (or not), to the Trini economy.

When a company makes a gas discovery in 2019 and blames slow pace to production  on a twenty year regulatory approval gap, yet still enters a pseudo JV with NGC, we might get the impression that at ~$US2.50 NGC is the only route to monitization.

On the oil front, after results of Royston-1 test#3 (and beyond), Minister Young announced the governments role (e.g. SPT revamping), and possible role of Heritage to be the ones calling the shots.

BWDIK? On the subject of a rerating of TXP PPS; What are the chances of a speculator's rush to position themselves at today's close, ahead of the weekend and a POSSIBLE 7am GMT London announcement on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday......etc.

Followed by a Coho (celebretory) announcement in Mid (22nd) January
