BHP, in the persona of its inexperienced, egotistical, and CHEAPSKATE CEO, Mr  Henry has slipped up, tripped up, not ONCE but...

TWICE.

    1) It couldn't offload operational risk to Nutrien in developing its Jansen potash project after wasting many millions sinking a shaft that may too big for the rest of the mine.

    2) After months of negotiating with MUCH-SMALLER Wyloo, which owns 38% of Noront, for a control stake a valuable cluster of mineral deposits (known as Ring Of Fire), BHP has WALKED AWAY. AND

GUESS WHAT?????........

Noront's Stock Jumped 40% !!!

Mr Henry is NO MATCH for MR BISWAS, who has been CEO of Newcrest for 8 years.
Mr Biswas has seen a movie like this before.

Sooooo......sports fans...

One strategy for Newcrest to win control of SolGold is to buy CGP's interest in Cascabel and its SolGold shares. This would provide a similar ownership platform to Wyloo's ownership stake in Noront.
