RE:RE:RE:RE:I wonder if Ontario Government might be the partner?I wonder - would we want the Onatrio government as a partner? It would be big news so we would get a sp bump.

Currently there is a minor dispute between Canada and the USA becuase the USA is discussing offering a large rebate to Americans that buy EVs from car companies that have American unionized workers. The Canadian gov is mad because this will impact Canadian car sales which is big industry. There is already a mining pact with the USA in which we are sharing mining rights across the borders.

Hypothetically, what if the Onatrio gov and CNC are partners and the best deal for the nickel is coming from Tesla which wants the nickel sent to their battery manufacturing sit in the USA? Would the Ontario gov be able to veto saying that the nickel has to go to a Canadian battery manufacturer - even thugh it doesnt make good business sense?

Partnering with the governement may help with permitting etc, but would it be limiting in other ways? What if BHP (an Australian company) wants to come buy CNC out at a huge premium?

I suppose the gov would only have a minor equity in the company - but I wonder if it could be a headache. The proposed project would create alot of mining jobs and equity to the Tiimins area.
