Rob FiaThought I would weigh in on the notion of a buyout. Should (when) the FDA EUA is delivered I will be absolutely shocked that Rob would/will try to convince shareholders that a buyout is a good idea. It will certainly not be in the near future solely because of the capital required to jump start the manufacturing of AcuVid.
First of all he has agreements in place for manufacturing and is already in the midst of fulfilling the initial orders of the Venowave 2. I have no idea where the money for this is coming from ...but it's obviously available. The same will happen for AcuVid.
Second of all he has invested far too much time and money in the company both as Jenex and as Therma Bright ....yes I've been around that long. As first an investor, then a director and finally the CEO, imho Rob will do all he can to profit from the time, energy and his own money that was invested. He has been on a mission for quite awhile now.
Finally he took a left turn when he created a subsidiary and took on partners to let AcuVid (CoviSafe) run on its own. He wasn't long demolishing that paradigm shift and got back on track with THRM ....and its shareholders. So he made the decision to go this alone.
Yes, shareholders would have a say in a buyout and unless there was either 1. no way for Rob to move forward with AcuVid as part of THRM or 2. The offer was exceedingly generous, there is nothing to suggest this is something he would be remotely considering.
I would only add that if for some reason the sp for THRM was to take off and move into the $5 to $7 range all bets are off. Even then he might have to believe that that is a ceiling that he would struggle to manage THRM through before expressing a want to sell.
Certainly just my opinion ....but you don't go through what he has for years now and suddenly not have a plan to bankroll AcuVid production.
Cheers!!!
