Santo Domingo has been fully permitted for a while, without much controversary (that I know of). So it might be harder to get new projects permitted, potentially good for copper price.

Far as I know, and correct me if I am wrong, that Dominga project also involves also a "mega-port," which would be close to nature reserves. The Coquimbo region. A tourist region. Blue-nose dolphins, penguins, you name it.

North is the arid Atacama region. The Montoverde mine is in the Atacama Desert... And the Santo Domingo project is 30km from that ..
