Yes, I remember when Navidad was first rejected, almost 10 years ago. It was frustrating to read and patiently wait for the process to "work". It never did work in paas' favour..

This latest projected approval and then rejection by mob and by decree is reminiscent of those times.

I was surprised to see paas continue to rise yesterday. I thought that some of its forward momentum over the previous few days was owing to the announcement.

Disappointing politics may be baked into the price.

I thought the same and bailed on January calls.  Peace of mind, I suppose, is worth something.  Do we know who the mob is?  They were organized and ready to launch so quickly.  Must be some politics, or unpaid "fees" to someone?  The deposit is certainly far from the capital city, and the workers from the neighboring villages would benefit and probably not suffer environmental impacts so remote from their homes.  Argentina -- named for silver -- shoots itself in the wallet again?  Someone is holding out for a bigger payday?
