2022 Year of value illustration for the Duvernay Slide 6, says it all in Paramounts Corporate Presentation
Smoky Duvernay
Smoky is being moved up, and according to the slide expect better rates of return then what we are getting at Wapiti, which are just Fantastic. Smoky is surrounded on all sides by Cresent Point and in the new year, CPG is going to publish some fantastic well results, results that have never been seen to date in Cresent Points Portfolio.
North Duvernay
After a year of letting their wells produce, Murphy/Athabasca will be back at it all around the North Duvernay, to drill a few more wells, that todate represent some of the very best wells Murphy has drilled anywhere in the world. You can call it luck, but i would say it way good planning on the part of POU management, the the montney play that they have had huge success producing for years, is located above the duvernay, and now maybe you could say the costs are less than 1/2 cycle, and the North Duvernay is off to the races in 2022.
Wilesden Green Duvernay
2021 was another record setting year for Wilesden Green with the longest well drilled in POU corporate history. Looking at slide 7, and looking to the future i think Wilesden Green has a lot of thinking and planning going on, and the fact that it is over lapping with the North Duvernay means these plays are in competion for some major dollars.
2022 will be the year of the Duvernay, Vesta is profitable and the economics just keep getting better, CPG will take over from shell with a big budget and we will finally get public results on the treasures of the Duvernay.
Duvernay Players to watch for 2022 - Murphy, Chevron, Cenovous, Petro China, Cresent Point, Vesta, XTO, Kiwintinohk.
