The current crop of batteries and indeed the current graphene price have little or no bearing on the opportunity at play.
The first thing is to prove they deliver on the promises made using more than one source for the graphene.....

I did not plan to be original summarizing the news and trying to see a next step...The gain is also, relatively modest, compare to result (just look at the battery picture and read a specs).
Thechical specs are not enough for the market, investors need economics too.
Yes, sure new tech is getting cheaper with time, most of the time. However, would "current graphene price have little or no bearing on the opportunity at play", GMG would break 1B of market cap after the news.
For GMG and us there is a big difference to make cheap enough battery within one year (=success) or 20 (=bankruptsy). As Elon Mask stated, the easiest thing was a prototype building.
I am happy with the progress, I do not expect them to build an assembly line next year.
GMG is in hottest market segment we can imagine, if they succeeded, they can not only ride, but steer new wave of battery revolution.
I am sure they are on radars already. GMG now in trasition from prove of technological concept to accounting related one.
Again, second maybe sounds boring, but matter as much as first - not in distant future, but next year.
