Comparing the current SP to 2014 it is trading at less than 90%. Was there anyone making this prediction more than 7 years ago? Doubtful. Enterprise has been trading at what only management believes to be a discount. Institutional investors have long lost interest. The company either refuses to or doesnt have anything positive to communicate to shareholders i.e. any new contracts with their blue chip customers, the savings from a the money spent on tracking when equipment requires maintenance (we haven't had any updates on this). When a company is silent it is considered bad news. Many investors are certainly not bullish on Enterprise.
You asked the right question, but a lot of these public traded companies do not provide NR to update their business progress and they want to pretend to have autonomy to their business and only update their investors quarterly. One thing they want to avoid is to setup a perception that no news is bad news. Therefore, they don't do any NR, except the minimum required.
