Well health stock long holder, long time user of clinics. I have 2 well health clinics within one block of my house. Both have been their for years but only became part of well family 2 years ago. My family doctor and other doctors are at one and the other has multiple doctors. It's always been a long process to get in to see a doctor. Before and after well became owners. Usually 2-3 hrs between walking and to make appointments and then going away to kill time, then back to clinic 2-3 hrs later, then waiting in waiting room. Since well has taking over they allow both online booking of in clinic appointments but you can only make the appointments no MORE than 24 hrs in advance. If you try to book for 2 or more days in the future they say sorry we don't book that far in advance. Kinda a joke, but tolerable still. I've booked multiple virtual appointments for a prescription refill with both my doctor and others, not once have they called me when the said my appointment was. Usually 1/2 hr to 1 hr later. Not convenient since in working so I have to keep my cell phone on me and in my job it can fall into oils, liquids or easily get crushed by equipment. Very annoying. Recently got up at midnight the day before I needed to make an appointment to get an ability to work letter after a 16 stitches injury to my hand. My company wouldn't let me work without it. I made it for a Sunday so I didn't need to skip work. All was set up. I drove to clinic because it was cold and guess what closed.......sign on door said doctor called in sick ....sorry..... no phone call to cancel my appointment, and now no ability to work letter. Pretty Po Ed now. Went home and made another appointment for next day. Thought I'd get my shingles vaccine at same time too, I don't want to have to make another appointment. Next day I phone doctor office to make sure all is good doctor is there. Drive to pharmacy pick up vaccine, which must be used within a 1 hr so as it's temp sensitive. Walk over to clinic...... guess what no doctor,he went home. I'm now stuck with a 300$ x2 vaccine for me and wife that's warming up. I go to my own doctor clinic another well clinic, explaining my delemma, they said sorry can't fit you in too busy! Now I'm really mad. Drive to two other clinic all well ones No way to get in .....a holes . Last chance went to one not far away, explaining to her my issues. She said we're busy but I'll check with doctor, she came back and said sure just sit and wait. Not 10 minutes past and I'm in. Doctor gave me and wife vaccine, filled out my ability to work form, inspected my hand, asked proper questions about how my hand was doing, wrote a painkiller prescription, and re wrapped my hand. I even got a care package with wrap, gauze tape etc. He set up another appointment for a week later. I arrived at 11 but my appointment was at 1:10 I miss read the card. Lady said your early but I can slip you in!! I waited 10 minutes and was in The doc removed my stitches said it looked so much better than last week that the redness and purple was gone....... WHAT. A doctor who actually can recall what my hand looked like a week ago.........unbelievable. Long story short....I will never step one foot in a well clinic again. I was treated so many times like I was nothing to them,no common courtesy no respect no ph9ne call to cancel no email or text,3 hr waits. I'll keep my $40000 in well stock buy only because I'm $12000 in the hole. If they treat all their customers like me, that's sad. Tell you one thing I'm so glad I found a great doctor, with a great attitude and bedside manor. Secretary is cute too.
