RE:Who Was The Other Major?

RE:Who Was The Other Major?

Hi EvenSteven,

2010-11 was before my time as a shareholder with WRN and I have not heard anything mentioned about who the Companies were.

But what I have heard in the last 3 years from Mgmt, was both RT and BHP were in serious discussions with Western regarding Casino, prior to the current RT partnership announcement.

As well, Paul did mention in a recent video within the last year, he has been in serious discussions with our neighbour to the west in Newmount, and one other gold Major which he did not mention by name.
I assumed the other gold Major was either Barrick who is in a present partnership with Newmount in LasVegas, or another gold Major positioned in the Yukon like Agnico Eagle.

I find it hard to believe there were 5 -7 Majors chasing down the Dixie gold property of Great Bear's without any PEA or FS documentation scribed.

IMO, Kinross must have had allot of confidence in the lab drilling results, as their taking allot of risk in their decision making to pay $29/share.
Did they jump the gun and overpay, time will tell when the documentation is completed and the tonnage is mine from the property.

Looking ahead at Casino, we have the remainder of the drill results coming our way before Spring, followed by the completion of the FS in June.
I'm expecting there will be more than the RT's interest at Casino before closure, unless RT is prepared to pay market value for our tonnage and 75 year LOM!
