RE:RE:Enbridge Line 3 Aquifer Breach in Clearbrook, MNTo correctly map groundwater flow accurately is a very difficult task, and not always successful.
I learned this by having been involved in such activities during the North American Hydrologic Decade.
The posted "report" such as it is, makes very little sense. It is not telling of what actually happened such as where is the water flowing, and what quantities are ivolved.
Ground water hydrology is more difficuly than surface water hydraulics, so problems like that are not so easy to remedy.
This may be a problem for the US Corps of Engineers to deal with.
This is December however, why did it take so long for them to disclose the problem?
