RE:RE:RE:Global shortage of oil in 2022?If you've been paying attention the last 20 years, you'd see that whether there's a real abundance of oil or shortage is irrelevant. The only thing that really matters is what the majority believe.
I predict within the next 24 months the narrative shifts from a shortage due to lack of investment; to a lack of oil because reserves are running dry due to decades of excessive decadent consumption.
This will serve five key purposes... it reinforces the need to constrain travel/consumption of average consumers; it raises inflation thereby making average citizens poorer and elites richer; it makes renewables appear cost effective/necessary; it feeds the climate/save the planet hysteria; and it will be used as an argument to convince people why global governance of the world's natural resources is necessary.
