not so sure on  CS merging with MANTOS with this new LEFTIST coalition gov't that just got elected in CHILE..remember, they campaigned on a new 75% mining profit tax to pay for a whole bunch of promised social reforms..WILL THEY?? don't know but the international markets are concerned..their PESO has dropped approx. 20% on the election news (actually great for costs).. 
Everyone is telling me, DON"T WORRY..they can't bite the hand that feeds them (lots of stateownership, Cu is the golden goose egg etc)..WRONG -they can certainly introduce HIGHER PROFIT TAXES on foreign imperilast dogs (meaning us) that are robbing the good people of CHILE.. AGAIN, as stand alone companies both are great with exciting prospects, both are also facing higher cost pressures both in operations as well as development, its just CMMC provided a MORE RECENT snapshot with their EVA mine development, i suspect CS to be raising costs across the board soon enough. MORE IMPORTANTLY, CMMC is only in BC and AUST thus are not facing any significant tax increases potentially, a' coming... prudently, that's why i sold off 50% of my ARG (even with its new div -sigh) and put it into CMMC..to each his own..my 2 cents (get it??haha)..happy holidays..dwdc
