I love days like today. Not only for the sales, but for theafter effect - DOUBT.  Nothing more excites uncertainty than surprise.  Surprise - Nasdaq down 3%.  surprise - bitcoin at new low, surprise - throw away your gold!   Oh no, that last one is wrong.  Yeah, I know the Fed talkin’ higher IRates, and yeah USD should be stronger as a result, but everything that has happened today, has happened because the market believed it would.  Raise rates, stronger dollar, increase borrowing costs reduce corporate earnings, yada, yada, yada; BUT can pre-covid indicators still prove reliable today in a global economy still suffering repeated surge in the Pandemic?

Gold is sometimes good to own during a depression, and sometimes even better in periods of inflation, but gold always the best in times of uncertainty.
