These are development expenditures which, as the Govt of Quebec approved these costs, cannot be denied Questerre regardless of the rogues running Quebec right now.

The real question is how much compensation Questerre will get for the loss of future earnings  resulting from the expropriation of  Utica.

I cannot imagine that Questerre will get nothing as that would automatically blackmail Quebec in the business world , let alone violate universal compensation rights for expropriated property.

Utica will be very cheap gas and there is trillions of it there , so future discounted earnings would be substantial ........enough IMO that Quebec will let it proceed under the guise of carbon neutral.

In this latter case, Questerre would become a blue chip energy producer,
