Yes, it's a bit better but will it capture investor's attention to change their vote within a 24 hours notice...probably not. Maybe they found the support a big institutional holder. Like you said, why waiting so long to change the deal mix? Logically, they should have done it on the Dec 13th extension announcement. If the deal doesn't receive the 66 2/3 acceptance, they only can blame theirselves

Yes I'm thinking a large holdout may have demanded a cash component within the last couple of days but otherwise it doesn't make much sense and such a small cash portion doesn't really improve the deal much. The upside is limited (in relation to the current implied offer) and if it is a no vote CLIQ may see 6 bucks or lower. That isn't to say big upside may not be there as a part of Sundial if that happens. Thats the kind of stock that could double or triple very easily in the right environment. I may take a look at Sundial once the dust settles. May get cheaper on potential reverse split news within a month. Seemed like a no brainer to sell this morning. I actually got lucky and was able to sell 700 of my shares at the high of $8.10...then chased the rest down to just below 8. May end up being the wrong move but felt right at least for today.
