App vs. RFID tags

PlusPass is a telephone and tag based method to pay tolls without setting up an account. The phone app would obviously bypass RFID technology ip.

Note that Shannon Swank (of teh Darby Swank family) is the co-founder on PlusPass. I found an article/interview with her from last September.
