Food for Thought Don't mean to hog the board. Like to hear from others, pro or con. Of course I have a selfish reason for posting and it's no different than any investor, namely wanting the SP to rocket up. Never know if someone influential might be reading. One way a company can field investor opinion. To be honest I'm no farmer, haven't a clue about farming, but I like tech/science. Global warming is happening and for human beings, the most adaptive creature to ever evolve, providing water for farming (including controlled nurseries) ir is a challenge... bar none.
On WWT's home page it is stated that the company is starting to investigate developing their own data driven solution, in keeping up with the times. Be nice to know how that is progressing. Hope not too late to get in the autonomous game. Might be able to rectify that by partnering with a top 10 autonomous irrigation company...idk. It does appear to me at least that autonomous irrigation is still in transition phase and perhaps it's very hard to get farmers convinced or for both company and customer to put out the expense.
IMHO in today's world it is all about gathering data, algorithms, machine learning and Artificial Intelligence. If you want to make the most efficient decisions you need it, whether it be cost related or putting a seed in the ground. I think it may be absolutely imperative that WWT commit to connecting with the Internet of Things (IOT)
