Yes Lily I must admitt that you are a good great writer but you are full of BS.
27 years of age you own 8 properties in Toronto and you bought 70,000 shares of BTO at $5.25 = $367,500 and here you are on Stock House BS Bull Boards chating with us old uneducated clowns..LOL
You are only fooling yourself, Good Luck and Happy New Year....
GOLD IS KING....
Heheheh...Good morning Mr. Tootall123,
I said I own 8 properties in Toronto at the age of 27. I am not 27 now. Many people at this age have already made a legacy for themselves and have done deeds that made an impactful change to the world, so owning 8 properties in Toronto or being financially independent means nothing in comparison. Like I said, your generation and mine have very different mindset. You buy a house, work hard to pay it off so you can proudly say you're mortgage-free at 50. There's no way I want to live my life that way.
I chat with everybody as long as they are respectful, open-minded and can carry an intelligent conversation. I always assume that the person(s) with whom I am chatting knows more than I do and there's something I can learn from. These people can be from anywhere, including SH. After all, a poster here tipped me to the ticket VET. Amongst other recommendations, another poster told me to take a serious look at some of the stocks he was buying, most notably OBE and SGY. I liked what I read about the companies and the trade resulted in a very good profit for me. In essence, I try to listen to what people have to say and see if there's anything I can learn from them. I am sure if you stop telling people to "get lost" and "get the hell out", or "full of BS" and instead, do what I always do, ask them "how did you do it?" you might find something useful in what they have to say.
Oh I don't judge people by the number of years they've lived or the number of fancy degrees they hang on the wall, although I do put a lot of value in education. Without a good heart, age just means more white hair and a fancy degree proves nothing but the holder has racked up many classroom hours.
Good posts Lily...........it appears you've got a good head on your shoulders and are on the right track. Perhaps you maybe younger than Total by age but obviously much more advanced in terms of wisdom, intellect and open mindedness. Nobody knows everything but everyone knows something.............you obviously have a better grasp of that than he. I'm likely closer to his age btw.
