You sound like you got too much fairy dust. The firm Rise Gold is a US firm with their head office in Grass Valley CA. Your fears about enviromental impacts do not reflect what the studies state. The side of the equation is employment and the economy. The mine will generate substantial employment with it's broader impact on the local econmy. Canada will get nothing out of this.
