If you are found to be day trading or derivative trading or complex trades with increased risk (shorting) you will be determined to operating your account like a business and lose your RRSP designation and pay capital gains. This not financial advice but I am abiding by the rules and not daytrading for that reason (partly in principle but also to reduce risk in case of an audit). This is what I would have expected from someone who was shorting this stock on a daily basis. You are defrauding both Candin tax payers and Well shareholders.
