RE: Today's News - Farky's Post

RE: Today's News - Farky's PostTo save people from having to go to agoracom, here's farky's post: Hi everyone, I spoke with Bob d'Artois this morning and have the following to report: (1) Things are obviously going well with the Debeers JV. The JV agreement has not yet been finalized as the two companies have been passing the document back and forth in an attempt to get the agreement finished. Rhonda should have the document back in their office soon, hopefully for the last time, and after that the agreement should be done. When the agreement is finalized, a news release will follow. (2) The drilling program this year will be done with a two and a half inch drill. At least five holes will be drilled in an attempt to determine the size of the pipe. I know this was stated in the release yesterday, but it is worth repeating. Bulk sampling of the pipe may begin as early as next spring (2002). (3) John Alston spoke to the person at the SEC who is dealing with the Carmina file. In the past, the SEC has been contacted by lawyers, but this time Mr. Alston phoned. He was told that it was coincidental that he had called since the Carmina file was to be the next thing they would look at. Hopefully the SEC will get have a response soon to the CARL listing. IMHO, even though the markets haven't been very nice to new tech companies, it will be nice to see some progress on the Carmina front.
